About Minneapolis

Thus, the largest outdoor sculpture park in America, the Minneapolis Sculpture Park, is a must see. This park is also next to the fantastic Walker Arts Centre, which houses some of the best contemporary arts in America. Offset your artistic tours with a walk, swim, boat ride or skiing trip around or on the Chain of Lakes. Minneapolis is the ‘city of lakes’, so do as the locals and take in the recreational opportunities on the Chain of Lakes.
Minneapolis and St. Paul’s most popular theatre performances are spread evenly throughout the year, so visit this twin city area during the icy winters or the sunny summers and dress accordingly.

Restaurants: the hip and popular Spanish restaurant Solera serves up a great atmosphere over three levels and offers a superb Sangria and Tapas mix.
Culture: the Guthrie Theatre draws audiences from all over for its contemporary performances. The theatre also has three restaurants, multiple stages and its own cantilevered walkway. The ‘Endless Bridge’ enables visitors to take in the grand view of the river. For something a little less conventional visit the Ethnic Dance Theatre, dedicated to the preservation of International music.
Architecture: visit St Paul and the marvelous Minnesota State Capital building and take in the tremendous craftsmanship of this 1904 marble wonder.
Shopping: The Mall of America is a sight in itself. Tour groups fly from all over to visit this massive shopping centre, which holds the throne as the largest mall in America.
